Fatal Truck Accident Claims Two Lives in Pune
Two 21-year-old college students died when a cement truck flipped over their two-wheeler at a busy intersection in Pune. Pranjali Yadav and Ashlesha Gawande were on their way to Hinjewadi when the accident happened on Friday afternoon.
The truck driver, Amol Waghmare, was driving too fast and lost control while turning left. A nearby biker managed to escape by jumping off his vehicle.
The police quickly arrived at the scene and used a crane to lift the truck. The police arrested the driver and started an investigation. The accident was caught on CCTV cameras.
Local people are now asking for better safety rules for heavy vehicles in the city. The incident has made people worried about road safety, especially for two-wheeler riders.
