Gangster Captured After Temple Hideout Drama

Temple Raid Leads to Gangster’s Arrest

Police arrested 23-year-old criminal Shubham Dhumal at Gavaleshwar temple on January 25, 2025. Dhumal, who had been hiding to avoid arrest under the MPDA Act, was taken to Nashik Central Jail.

The young criminal from Dhumal Malla has a long record of crimes like theft and robbery. He was banned from entering Pune city in July 2024 but broke this rule by returning to the area.

A special police team led by Commissioner Amitesh Kumar tracked down Dhumal, who had stopped using his phone to avoid being caught. The arrest is part of recent police efforts to fight crime in Pune, including drug raids and catching illegal foreigners.

After Police got information about his location, they quickly moved to catch him at the temple where he was hiding. The operation was successful thanks to teamwork between different police units.
